How to install the Samsung USB Driver

1. Download the installer from Samsung Developer.
2. Disconnect your Galaxy device and open the downloaded installer.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions. Restart Windows if prompted.
4. Reconnect your phone or tablet with a USB cable that supports data transfer.
5. Open Device Manager and check whether a device entry appears when you plug in the phone.

Samsung phone still not detected?

• The phone only charges. Try another data-capable cable and plug it directly into a different USB port on the PC.
• Windows detects the phone, but the files are missing. Unlock the phone and choose File transfer from its USB notification if the option is available.
• Device Manager shows a yellow warning icon. Open the device’s Properties to read the error. Reinstall the Samsung driver if Windows reports a driver problem.
• ADB shows unauthorized. Unlock the phone, approve the USB debugging prompt for your own computer, and run adb devices again.
